You can access this trail a few ways :
1 - by parking near the Bedford Place mall and biking up / or you can park on the bi-high. With your bike , find River Lane. At the end of the street behind the dumpsters .. cross the stream and head under the over pass, after the pass - hang a left - walk up the hill . On your right before you get to the service road , there is a small thrill loop with a few roller hills - Just make ur way back to the top of the service road. Most the trails are to your left in the woods.
You can also carry up the power line from the service road. Spring time its pretty wet, and you will have to cross a river if you go to the left ! IF you stay to the right , this will eventully loop you down to Sandy Lake trails.
2nd way into this system is off the Bi Hi - 102 just past the bedford /sackville exit (on your way to hlfx) There is a service road 1/2 way up the hill. It is gated, but there is lots of room to park on the side.
3rd -service road - Directly acorss from the on/off ramp of the 102 on Hammands Plains Road. ( see map below )
There are alot of little side trails here that will keep you busy for hours...
It is completely normal to see someone going on bike with a chainsaw and buckets.
